Objective: To assess the level of awareness, effectiveness and utilization of contraceptive services and to determine the relationship / level of significance of education of women with other parameters.

Material and Method : This cross sectional descriptive study was conducted in the department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Aga Khan University Hospital Hyderabad, Sindh Pakistan from October to December 2010. The data was collected on a structured questionnaire based on inclusion and exclusion criteria.
